Goals:
To shine light and celebrate the achievements of athletes that have been overlooked.
To educate those who are unaware of these stellar athletes and their impact, both on and off the field.
About
-
Unsung Heroes is a community oriented social justice project that uplifts history’s greatest athletes that have remained in the shadows. We aim to discover not only the stories of successes and triumphs, but also sacrifices and sufferings, to tell stories that were unable to be told.

I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. I have heard countless stories, modern and ancient, of great people and talented athletes whose stories need to be told. When I was 12 years old I went to the Hall of Fame and when I got there I felt inspired to talk about some of the Hall of Famers that I did not know. It made me want to learn about those people that were so great that I never heard about and it made me want to shine their light in a different way other than the Hall of Fame.
